VERY IMPORTANT DRIVING/TRAVEL ROAD CLOSURE ANNOUNCEMENT

​​

​The A82 between TARBET and the FALLS OF FALLOCH (along west Loch Lomond) is CLOSED from Friday 7pm until Saturday 6am.

There are hourly amnesties (where they open the road for a short time), however WE STRONGLY RECOMMEND  if you are traveling to Tyndrum on Friday evening or Saturday morning, you DO NOT USE THIS ROUTE.

 

The ALTERNATIVE ROUTE we recommend is to get to Crianlarich from the east using the A85, then on to Tyndrum.

LONG STAY PARKING PERMITS

​

We have arranged a small amount of long-stay parking but you will require to have booked a parking permit via Si Entries to use this. Permits for this long-stay parking in Tyndrum will be available from 9pm on Sunday 6th April.  These permits are very limited and usually sell out quickly.   More Information HERE

Due to circumstances outwith our control, the dates of our two events which take place on the West Highland Way trail are changing.  We have been working hard over the past year with venues, landowners, local businesses  and authorities to find a way for the two events to continue to take place.

 

The race dates are:

​

• 26th April 2025 - Devil o’ the Highlands Footrace (42 miles)

​

• 20th September 2025 - Highland Fling Race (53 miles)
   

Entries for the Devil will open at 9pm on Sunday 15th September 2024

Entries for the Highland Fling will open at 9pm Sunday 6th October 2024
